Wake up early and watch the sunrise from the top of Noyes Mt. as you overlook Norway Lake’s southern end. An early morning hike is a spectacular way to start the day. Join SMH and Lorie Olson as we trek up Noyes Mountain while enjoying the early morning sounds of nature and watch the sun slowly light up the sky. Make sure to dress accordingly, wear proper footwear

Start your day on a positive note!  Experience the benefits of this delightful morning flow. Join SMH and Wendy Dillon, RN for a moderate flow yoga experience for all skill levels! You will wake your body up and spend time connecting with yourself before heading out into the world. Bring a yoga mat, an eye mask or towel to cover eyes, a cushion or blanket to sit on, a bottle of water & wear comfortable clothes. Make sure to sign up early, as there is limited availability.

You do not need to hike a mountain or drive hours away from home to enjoy the trails. Join SMH and Lorie Olson as we venture out locally to hike/walk the Riverside/Viking Trails located right here in Norway/South Paris. This 1 or 2 mile trek provides easy walking on level terrain and can be modified for all levels. Get outside and enjoy the fresh air! Weather permitting, make sure to dress accordingly and wear proper footwear.

Join SMH and Kristin Linindoll, Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation RN at SMH for this fun, energetic, introductory, 6-week, one-hour class designed specifically for YOU.  All ages. All fitness levels.  The class curriculum incorporates approximately 30 minutes of easy-to-follow low-impact cardio style aerobics followed by approximately 20-25 minutes of conditioning moves and functional training moves to strengthen and tone your whole body and core.  Oxford Hills native, Kristin Linindoll, has been a group exercise instructor for approximately 25 years having taught at Hillside Racquetball and Health Club in South Paris, Hilltop Sports Center in Lewiston, Personal Best Health Club in South Paris, as well as classes at Stephens Memorial Hospital for employees and at Oxford Hills High School for teen athletes.

Come out to get some exercise, meet new people, enjoy the fresh air and have some fun. Mark your calendars for June 9, July 14, August 11, Sept. 8, and Oct. 13. We will meet at the Ripley Bldg. parking lot at 8:00 a.m. for anyone wanting to carpool. We hope you join us for a hike this summer! See below for list of hikes. Please note: hikes are weather permitting and subject to change. Leashed dogs welcomed.
